About the project
Who Is Emrys
You can call me Emrys.
I am the author, editor, and researcher behind Templo de Lúcifer, an independent project dedicated to studying and publishing content on Luciferianism, the history of religions, philosophy, symbolism, demonology, mythology, occultism, esotericism, and related traditions.
Within the religious and organizational context of Templo de Lúcifer, I also use the internal title of Master. This designation refers to my role within the project and its spiritual structure and should not be confused with an academic title or degree.
My work focuses on researching, organizing, analyzing, and producing content in Portuguese, with the aim of presenting subjects that are often surrounded by conflicting information in a more contextualized, understandable, and responsible way.
One of the project's main priorities is to distinguish, whenever possible, between historical documentation, religious tradition, philosophical interpretation, and what emerged later as contemporary esoteric or spiritual developments.
This distinction is especially important when studying topics such as Lucifer, Luciferianism, demonology, grimoires, Baphomet, ancient religions, and occultism, because information originating in vastly different periods and traditions is often presented as though it were part of a single narrative.
Templo de Lúcifer
Templo de Lúcifer began as a space dedicated to studying, reflecting on, and sharing content related to Luciferianism, its history, philosophy, symbolism, and various interpretations.
As the project developed, the website also began bringing together research and articles on the history of religions, demonology, Ars Goetia, mythology, ancient Egypt, occultism, esotericism, spiritual practices, symbolism, and other related fields.
The goal is to gradually develop a specialized library in Portuguese, organized so that both beginners and readers seeking more in-depth knowledge can find content suited to their level of study.
Templo de Lúcifer does not seek to present different traditions as though they were parts of a single universal system. Luciferianism, demonology, ancient religions, Freemasonry, Tarot, the traditions of Saint Cyprian, and other subjects examined on the website each have their own histories and are addressed, whenever possible, with respect for their specific contexts.
The existence of symbolic, philosophical, or esoteric connections between certain subjects does not necessarily mean that a direct historical relationship exists between them.
My Research Methodology
Many of the subjects covered by Templo de Lúcifer have multiple interpretations. The same figure may be understood differently in the history of religions, theology, literature, occultism, and modern spiritual movements.
For this reason, my work seeks to make bibliographic research, source comparison, and historical contextualization central elements of the editorial process.
The methods I use include:
consulting and comparing books, articles, documents, historical sources, religious texts, grimoires, and specialized studies;
analyzing the historical context in which certain ideas, symbols, or traditions emerged;
comparing primary sources with later interpretations;
consulting academic research when available and relevant;
distinguishing between historical claims, religious beliefs, and esoteric interpretations;
examining discrepancies among authors, translations, manuscripts, and traditions;
reviewing and updating articles when new sources or relevant information are identified.
An esoteric or religious source may be extremely important for understanding the history of a particular tradition, but this does not mean that every statement it contains should automatically be treated as a historical fact.
Likewise, a contemporary interpretation of an ancient deity, entity, or symbol should not be presented as though it necessarily reflected the meaning attributed to that figure by the culture in which it originally emerged.
This distinction between source, context, and interpretation is one of the foundations of the editorial work carried out at Templo de Lúcifer.
Editorial Responsibility
I am responsible for the editorial direction, organization, and review of the content published on Templo de Lúcifer.
Articles may be revised or updated when new sources are consulted, when a topic requires additional context, when inaccuracies are identified, or when the structure of the content can be improved to help readers understand it more clearly.
A subsequent update does not necessarily mean that the previous content was entirely incorrect. Many revisions involve adding references, clarifying concepts, improving structure, or drawing more precise distinctions between historical information and later interpretations.
When a significant factual error is identified, correcting it takes priority.
Main Areas of Research and Publication
My work at Templo de Lúcifer focuses primarily on Luciferianism, including its history, philosophy, principles, symbolism, and different branches; Lucifer, examining the origin and evolution of the name and its interpretations; History of Religions, with studies of religious traditions, texts, and symbols; Demonology and Ars Goetia, including grimoires, entities, and the historical development of demonological traditions; Occultism and Esotericism, analyzing symbolic and initiatory systems; Mythology and Ancient Egypt, considering deities, narratives, and historical contexts; and Baphomet, especially its history, iconography, relationship to Éliphas Lévi, and later esoteric interpretations.
These fields are organized into separate subject areas on the website to avoid indiscriminately mixing different topics.
Emrys and Leandro L. F. Neto
Emrys is the authorial and editorial identity I use within Templo de Lúcifer.
Articles, studies, and materials related to the project are primarily published under this identity.
Books published as bibliographic works use the name Leandro L. F. Neto, while explicitly maintaining its connection to Emrys and Templo de Lúcifer.
These are not two different authors.
The distinction exists to preserve the editorial identity developed within the project while ensuring that published books remain identified by the bibliographic name used in their respective records and on publishing platforms.
History, Belief, and Interpretation
An important principle of the project is recognizing that certain subjects cannot be adequately addressed without distinguishing between different types of claims.
When an article states that a particular religion believed something, it means that the belief appears within a specific tradition, text, period, or interpretation. It does not necessarily mean that the article itself presents that belief as a verifiable scientific or historical fact.
Similarly, a contemporary spiritual or Luciferian interpretation may be presented and analyzed without artificially attributing it to ancient societies.
This approach seeks to avoid anachronisms and make it clearer to readers whether they are encountering history, belief, philosophy, symbolism, or religious interpretation.
Commitment to Sources and References
I do not consider the number of references, by itself, a guarantee of quality. An extensive bibliography does not correct a flawed interpretation of the sources.
Therefore, in addition to identifying references, I seek to examine the nature of each document, its date, its context, and its relationship to the subject under discussion.
Some topics involve legitimate disagreements among researchers, traditions, or historical sources. In such cases, the goal is not to conceal those differences in order to present an artificially simple answer, but to provide context whenever the disagreement is relevant to understanding the subject.
Articles may include bibliographies, primary sources, specialized studies, and further reading so that readers can deepen their own research.
Spiritual and Devotional Content
Templo de Lúcifer also publishes prayers, affirmations, contemplative texts, practices, and other spiritual content.
These materials belong to a different editorial category from studies that are primarily historical in nature.
When a text is a contemporary prayer or devotional creation, it should not be mistaken for an ancient historical document simply because it uses symbols or figures drawn from earlier traditions.
This distinction is maintained precisely so that the spiritual dimension of the project can coexist with historical research without either being improperly presented as proof of the other.
Editorial Independence
Templo de Lúcifer is an independent project.
The presence of advertising, books I have authored, member contributions, or other forms of funding does not change the commitment to accurately presenting the sources and contexts used in research-based content.
Books I have written are clearly identified as my own work.
When an article is directly related to one of my publications, that relationship may be disclosed to readers, but the Library is not created solely as a promotional tool.
The primary goal of the articles is to provide useful, well-organized content that readers can explore in greater depth.
Corrections and Content Updates
No research project is entirely free from the possibility of error.
For this reason, Templo de Lúcifer keeps its articles under continuous review and improvement.
If a factual error, incorrect reference, improper attribution, problematic translation, or other information requiring correction is identified, the content may be revised.
Updates are also made to incorporate additional sources, improve explanations, or bring older articles into alignment with the project's current editorial standards.
Editorial Contact
Readers who identify possible errors, problematic references, or information that warrants further analysis may use the official Templo de Lúcifer contact channel.
Well-supported suggestions are welcome and may be considered during future revisions.
Submitting a suggestion does not mean that the content will automatically be changed. Each issue will be evaluated according to its nature, context, and available sources.

Articles and Studies
Articles published on Templo de Lúcifer are organized by subject area within the Library.
The main sections include Luciferianism, Demonology and Goetia, Luciferian Practices, Esotericism and Occultism, and History of Religions.
This organization is intended to allow each subject to be studied within its own context, reduce unnecessary overlap, and make it easier to navigate between introductory content and more specialized studies.
About the Project
Templo de Lúcifer remains a work in progress.
New content is published, older articles are reviewed, and the Library's organization is progressively improved as the collection grows and new research is conducted.
My intention is to continue developing the project into a Portuguese-language reference library on Luciferianism and related fields, maintaining a clear distinction between historical investigation, philosophical reflection, esoteric interpretation, and spiritual content.
Rather than simply accumulating pages, the goal is to build a collection that helps readers understand where particular information originated, the context in which it was used, and how its interpretation has changed over time.
Templo de Lúcifer is an independent editorial project dedicated to research and reflection. Author and editor: Emrys (Leandro L F Neto).
